This is more likely to be a server-based problem. If possible check with another SAS user to see if they are also experiencing the same problem. Contact your SAS administrator or IT help desk to report your problem.

Today I tried to log into the SAS server. However, I get a reply that I cannot log in with the SAS metadata server. And he gets such a feedback. Is it a bug that I can fix locally on my computer or is it related to SAS server and only SAS administrator can fix it ?

Connection timed ou. A connection attempt failed because the SAS Server did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed beacuse connected host has failed to respond.

Assuming that a user is trying to connect to a SAS server and there is a login failure, then the metadata server log will typically have a reason for it.

Now if the user is not able to login and there is no mention of the failure in the metadata server log, then possibly the user was not able to connect to the metadata server. It could be network connectivity issue.

The SAS Administrator on site should be the first person to contact for help.
