SAS Analytics Pro (Server) Slow USer log on

Good morning SAS Admins!

We have a SAS AP deployment on a virtual Windows server, which is starting to take longer and longer to log our two users on, each time they use it.

I have tried a server reboot as a first blunt instrument test (has made no difference), and now am open to other troubleshooting/curative steps that you may have from your experience.

What do the metadata server and object spawner logs say.?
If you have any autoexec scripts and have something like library assignments, they could be a potential cause.
But the first step is to check the logs.

Thanks for coming back on this.

Our install is just SAS AP, so no metadata server.

I checked the auto library assignment, as you suggested, and found that one of our ODBC connections was taking forever to assign. I have commented that out and it now logs us on as quickly as before this issue occurred!
