What is the best practice to check if SAS Share is running properly?

Hi All,

I am looking for the best way to check if SASShare server is running properly. I am making a menu in Linux scripting for operators to check it by themselves. I am running a 'ps -ef | grep SASShare' in that point. I believe this output is not the clearest for an operator. Do anyone know if any SAS code - or so - can show us the SASShare server status clearly?

Maybe a list of librarys connected would be enough.

I would also grep the log files for phrases indicating problems.

You should be able to use DISPLAY SERVER statement in PROC OPERATE to show the status.
