Good evening, I am experiencing the following error while performing the upgrade process for the SAS platform.

I appeal to the community to validate if any of you have had the same error.

Thank you.

The problem is in the file highlighted in your post in blue.

Have you looked at it? You may need to show that to us if you expect any help. If so, copy the TEXT from that file opened in a text editor like Notepad, and on the forum open a text box using the </> icon and paste the copied text.

It is very hard to make suggestions based on pictures. If we have text there may be something where we can indicate a change to a parameter.

I will say that your "localhost" value that looks like "10.0" seems a likely culprit. I'm used to seeing values, when there are dots that look more like 127.0.0.1 (3 dots with IPV values) or no dots such as

localhost:8080 . I really don't know what should go there, I just think it looks funny.

Warning: Most boxes of that type end up involving SAS Tech support to resolve.

Hello @SAS_LuisBolivar ,

from what I see, you are installing on a Linux server, using a GUI, hence it needs X11 connection at all time. It seems to me as either the server or the X11 server (on your client) had a micro-disconnection and generated this issue.

The issue on itself is something to be looked at by your system and network administrators. However, here my best suggestions:

maybe your X11 server is malfunctioning. Which one you use? I tend to use MobaXterm (licensed), so far it works like a charm. There are many choices out there, and of course you need to comply with your company standards.

when deploying SAS I aimto reduce dependencies as much as possible. One of them is to install client-server. The best way to minimize these issues is to run the SDW and/or SDM with the -console parameter. Even better, under a "screen" process to ensure your session will run even if SSH goes down or there are network issues.
