    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi All:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since I am the de facto SAS wizard here, I have been tasked with renewing our server version of SAS.&amp;nbsp; We&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;have the renewal information from SAS already.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have done this a number of times in the past but only for local copies.&amp;nbsp; Is there anything unique or&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;different about the renewal on a server vs. a PC ?&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't want to screw this up and lose my wizard standing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The process is pretty much exactly the same. In the doc it tells you to restart SAS services after updating the SID, but you really should have all SAS services stopped, including user processes, during this process, &lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/kb/13/466.html"&gt;http://support.sas.com/kb/13/466.html&lt;/A&gt;.
