hi,

Can anyone help on how to proceed on it to aviod error in install sas software in Application server

. Base SAS is failing to install while trying to register sas.exe with the Windows operating system using the Windows application called regserver.exe:

2020-12-08 11:37:40 BatchRegistrationTask - attempting to register D:\Program Files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4\sas.exe by executing ["D:\Program Files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4\sas.exe", /regserver]

2020-12-08 11:37:40 BatchRegistrationTask - from D:\Program Files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4

2020-12-08 11:37:50 BatchRegistrationTask - register complete with exit value -1073740791

The exit value -1073740791 is coming from regserver.exe and the Windows operating system. Do you have a Windows administrator that can investigate this error at the operating system level?

As the email itself suggests, that the issue is due to window OS. You should get in touch with windows admin team at your site to help you assist on this.
