SAS DI studio job in checkout disappeared

I was working on a complicated DI job and was closed to complete when I later wanted to open it the job didn't open but just converted to a white canvas only (as below).

Even nothing on the properties, only the job name appears in the checkouts tab with the tables. Help is greatly appreciated, trust me, possibly 5 days of solid work!

Hi @channa43

Would suggest to check with platform admin if there were any changes made to the metadata causing this. You can check Metadata server logs for this. If metadata was deleted or repaired then I think it will be difficult to get it back. One option is to restore metadata from backups but that would overwrite other metadata changes that were made during these 5 days.

It's always good for developer to export a SPK package of their jobs to avoid such issues.

I checked with admin, and there was no alternative left, However thanks for this, yes has to create backups often, learnt in hard way.

Yeah, Going forward you should backup locally important jobs you are working on.
