And you should press for the upgrade to 9.4 ASAP. Many issues you report to SAS TS will get you a "upgrade first", because 9.2 is down to limited support, and lots of problems have been fixed in the meantime in subsequent releases. Not even mentioning all the advances in usability and functionality.

Dear concerned person,

We have observed issues where SAS become unresponsive (not being able to connect to application server).

In this situation we have to stop and start the Object Spawner.

Is there any code (still using SAS 9.2 and migration to 9.4 is not for soon) that can help us monitor the usage of the spawner to show us that it will soon reach its peaks?

So as users can tak precautionary measures to avoid issues with SAS connection.

We want to secure our SAS server by monitoring CPU usage/MEMORY usage and Object Spawner usage

Linux server

Thanking you in advance

How often does that happen?

IIRC, we had issues like that back with 9.2, and solved it by restarting the object spawner daily (midnight).
