HTTPSERVER7 Update hostname and Application URL

Hi Team,

We are moving servers from one location to another location. We have completed the true-copy from the old to the new server. On new server everything will remain the same except IP address and Hostname.

We have completed all the steps to update the hostname on sas config and WebSphere profile config files except HTTPSERVER7.

Can you please suggest whats steps we need to follows to update the new URL on the IBM HTTPS server?

please correct me if I am wrong ( I might be ) but this question is starting to be quite a recurrent question, on different shapes, and you are getting the same answers every time.

I feel very inclined to help you as always, but please understand the arguments and possibilities to give you further information start to be consumed.

In short, as reminder: update the metadata and update the files with grep, but always aligned with IBM and SAS Technical Support teams.

Please find their support. If you cannot, well, there is a reason: you are maintaining a very old version of the software, that are out of life-cycle support.
