SAS9.4 M4 to M6 upgrade: Metatier configuration issue while executing wizard

We are unable to proceed further with metatier configuration, While upgrading SAS9.4 M4 to M6.
$cd /..../M6_depot
./setup.sh &
Select Deployment type: Perform a planned deployment
Configure sas software (Check option selected)

"Originally configure hostname:" value is blank in the configuration wizard.
And we are getting below error.

Wizard title: Validate configuration hostname names.
Error: Could not determine the value for the Originally configure hostname.

we tried this below option, still we are getting same issue.

/....../M6_depot
./setup.sh -confighostname <servername>

Metadata installation was successful with same ./setup.sh execution earlier.

Can you please assist on this

Hello @Sakthi_cs ,

yes, I have seen this issue, and the solution is to use the -confighostname paramenter.

If this does not work, I would consider:

- try the same parameter and adding -loglevel 2, to get additional information in the log

- try a different hostname (exactly the one in your current metadata), perhaps you need to use the fully qualified domain name

- contact SAS Tech Support

- Use a depot with SAS 9.4 M7 instead of M6, if this is an option for you/your company

Metatier configuration issue resolved by "Update existing configuration" option through SAS deployment manager.

cd /.../sas/SASDeploymentManager/9.4
./sasdm.sh -confighostname <servername> &
