Testing some example programs should confirm this one way or the other prior to migration and after upgrading.

Regarding users with PCFF installed on their computers I assume you are referring to the SAS Add-In to MS Office? Are you planning to upgrade that at the same time? Depending on how the SAS Add-In to MS Office is configured at your site, users can have the ability to upgrade it themselves regardless of what you are doing on your SAS servers.

Hi Folks,

We currently have 9.4 M5 on our SAS Server. We're installing a new SAS server with 9.4 M6. We expect to migrate from one server to other during a weekend.

If our user has PC FF already installed on his computer, the same version will work with the new server? We're planning the upgrade client software too but it is programming to occurs after migration for the new server were completed. Our concern it's on Friday, before switch to the new server, our users could run their process with PC FF without any problem and, next Monday, when they connect to the new server, still working.

Thanks!
