Enabling and Initializing the APM ETL

Hi all,

We are looking to enable APM. see below link

We need to understand 1 & 3 point in the heading section APM ETL Enablement and Initialization Steps.

how to enable 1& 3 points and also will these logs monitor who edited which metadata object and when in a separate user logs/session logs (ex: jobs,tables,etc we can see this info also in metadata logs). can we see this information(ie:who, updated metadata objects and when) through SAS Environment manager.

is there any step by step example other the above link.

For #3: On the Enablement Kit Server machine, change to the <levelroot>/Web/SASEnvironmentManager/emi-framework/bin directory.

This is on the primary middle tier server where SAS Environment Manager Server is installed.

The APM ETL process extracts performance metric information from various SAS server logs, HTTP access logs, SAS job logs, and SAS metadata audit data and loads that information into the data mart. Custom parsers can be added to enable the ETL to process information specific to a SAS solution or application. As with other information in the data mart, you can use this information to produce predefined reports or to conduct custom analysis and reporting.
