Have you checked the firewall rules for that port on the SPDS server? Specifically that port needs to be open to traffic from PCs using SMC.

SPD Password Manager

Hi folks,

We just installed the SAS SPDS plug-in for SAS MC. When we tried to connect to our SAS9.4 M6 and SPDS 5.4 server, we received the following error message:

We checked all the connection information and it's ok. We can connect perfectly, using this information to a SPDS libname. We checked the SPDS logs and there is no error or warning.

We have other server with SAS 9.4 M4 and SPDS 5.3 and we connect perfectly well with it.

We executed netstat command on port 5400 and 5401, and are listening.

Any idea?
