Yahh. I want to remove my user name as from the list of groups which it is showing like last modified. When I disable the inheritance there might be a chance to do that.

If I do such will remove from the list or not?

If you are saying about the security tab you see under properties for windows OS, you should have the administrator role to change or modify anything owned by an ID other than your's.

I don't get it how does it fit in SAS context? This would be same for all the files on OS. Contact your site OS or IT administrator for help.
