Hi,

We're migrating from a Windows to Linux environment for SAS atm, and all our user accounts are set as domain name \ username. Do these need to change to just username on it or will they work fine with the domain name in it?

I'm seeing an issue when scheduling jobs to run under the usernames, but they run fine in DI, and just wondering would it be due to the domain name?

Thanks

Hi @titan31

If you are migrating using the SAS Automated Migration Approach, these will be changed during the process. However if you are using promotion approach (installing a new environment and importing the source content in new) then you will have to manually change this.

Authentication on linux hosts doesn't require domain name\username format. Just the username should be fine.

Thanks!
