SAS Deployment Wizard error

I am trying to configure SAS on a new server which is going to be communicating to an existing grid control server and metadata server

I'm getting the following error even though I am not trying to set up a first user identity (as it already exists for the environment)

ERROR:Cannot associate a Login with UserID SASDEM to Identity sasdemo because this UserID is already assigned to a Login for Identity sasdem.

Can someone please help me in resolving this ?

Hi @SangaviS ,

From the error, it looks like the user "sasdem" already has an login associated with it and wizard tried to add "sasdemo" to it. Since you are mentioning that you aren't trying to set up first identity user, are you creating any other user named "SASDEM"?

May be you can check your config wizard, if sasdemo was mistakenly used to associate to "sasdem"

Well. I'm not using sasdem anywhere in the wizard but it was already used while configuring the initial grid nodes. I did not use it for this configuration

Hi Anand, thank you for your effort!

sasdem account was defined in the metadata as a regular user instead of SAS Demo user. This issue was resolved after correcting it.
