If you want to continue to use both names to access it (internal and external) then you can replace the certificate you currently have, that has the single host name, with a new certificate that has both names. This is done using Subject Alternative Names (SAN) and if you talk to the people who signed the certificate for you they will know all about it. A common use case is for sites that need to be accessed as both example.com and www.example.com for example.

Hello Experts, I have SAS Viya 3.4 deployed, the server hostname is abcprodviya.xyz.ae (alias) And I have deployed SSL and the current URL is https://abcprodviya.xyz.ae/SASLogon/login. Now that we want this to published over internet for accessibility, we have published it with URL https://abc-bi.xyz.ae As the SSL deployed using the Private hostname CSR (abcprodviya.xyz.ae) the published URL when accessed gives Error that SSL certificate are not valid for this URL. In order to address this what is the best approach . Appreciate insight from Subject Matter Experts. I don’t think I can change the hostname post Viya Installation. Thanks in Advance Regard Syed
