LDAP / AD group implementation on Windows

ctiveHi ,

I would like to know about LDAP authentication and AD usage. I am currently on Windows and use the network credentials for authentication.

Please let me know if any one of you have implemented LDAP/AD group on windows.

We integrated the AD Import that SAS offers with our Domain Controller and we schedule a job to run the script in SAS and does a dump from our LDAP/AD to SAS Metadata.

akshatadeshpande what you are calling network credentials are LDAP/AD Credentials. That is the concept of host authentication.

You still need all the identities being defined in SAS metadata. The auto-herding can help with that. But some human decisions are to made when seeing needed actions as change add delete. What is your real question, can you explain?
