Hello. Receiving error when adding a depot to existing SAShome. Please advise if we have to re-download depot by excluding these components or is there any other option to resolve this error?

The question might be why are you attempting to replace software with the older version in the first place? And how did you get a software depot that contained older software? I would not expect a depot downloaded from SAS to contain older or mixed versions.

If that is what happened you may want to talk to SAS customer support.

This depot(SASGrid client tools) is new one which we got in July from SAS when we installed Grid on Linux. Some of end users already has SAS installed on their desktop and they received that depot in June. We are checking with SAS customer support. I have posted here to see if there are any other options to resolve. Thanks for your response.

The resolution is to get SAS to provide a SAS Software Depot that matches the version and maintenance level of your current installation.
