It is Windows probably a server being virtualized possible Vmware.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/techsup/pcn/virtualization.html" title="http://support.sas.com/techsup/pcn/virtualization.html"&gt;SAS Product Support for Virtualization Environments&lt;/A&gt; ... possible impact by virtualization....?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When your virtualized machine is too small&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The JVM is a Java Virtualized Machine running in Windows Vritualized machine. JVM needs to have enough resources from its guest OS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/kb/39/504.html" title="http://support.sas.com/kb/39/504.html"&gt;39504 - Setting JVM parameters for Web application servers when running SAS® 9.2&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/kb/37/277.html" title="http://support.sas.com/kb/37/277.html"&gt;37277 - Fragmented memory prevents the Java Web-application server from starting&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The sas clients until 9.3 are requiring 32-bit java versions but server side could be 64-bit. IT is confusing and not clear.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="active_link" href="http://support.sas.com/resources/thirdpartysupport/v93/jres.html" title="http://support.sas.com/resources/thirdpartysupport/v93/jres.html"&gt;SAS 9.3 Support for Java Runtime Environments&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would suggest to bother SAS Tech support with this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>ERROR in starting jboss sasserver1</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your support provided.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But according to the above link document,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"This error indicates that the problem is most likely a result of having selected &lt;SPAN style="font-family: monospace;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;32-bit Java JDK&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt; in the SAS Deployment Wizard", while I have taken 64 bit java JDK, still this error is occuring.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
