    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are trying to SAS/Access to hadoop with below libname and I get below error ? any thoughts? (hadoop jar/conf path looks all good)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;libname hdp hadoop server='ixnbda1dm04.sce.com' port=&lt;STRONG&gt;10000&lt;/STRONG&gt; schema=default subprotocol=hive2;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ERROR: Error trying to establish connection: Could not open client transport with JDBC Uri:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;jdbc:hive2://IYXCDBDA04.sce.com:10000/default: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (Connection refused)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;From the error&amp;nbsp;I believe its port issue. Can you check and confirm if&amp;nbsp;Hive is configured to&amp;nbsp;same port 10000 and you have opened firewall from SAS to Hadoop environment.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
