1067 Metadata server error...Please share your KT

Hi,

I was trying to restart the servers in windows 2008...

but when i'm trying to start the Metadata server i'm noticing this issue please help me out. And i checked the Log files, nothing was there and has valid licence also..

Hi,

Try to restart your server and then try restarting the metadata services.

Check the event viewer as well for any error messages

Start-->type 'eventvwr'-->Application

I was restarted server then i was tried to restart SAS services but still i'm getting the same error message alert

And i checked 'eventvwr' it has lot of warnings and errors one of the most error for sas is

ERROR: (SASXKRIN): KERNEL RESOURCE INITIALIZATION FAILED.

ERROR: Unable to initialize the SAS kernel.

can you please suggest me what i have to do... If you have any idea

Has the file permissions recently changed on you configuration or logs directory?

Hi,

I have the same problem I'm restarting the server after a change in file permissions on the Data tier and the web tier server. I granted extra permission to the SASSRV user....

There is no solution in this conversation. Can someone please help?

Those I/O error messages are very concerning. Check your hard drive for errors now. Call SAS Technical Support.

I would also check the Windows server event log for errors that might help explain what has happened.
