If you do not yet have a software deployment tool implemented, then it's time to contemplate it. Otherwise someone will have to go from PC to PC to do the installation.

Hi All,

We have several users with Eguide installation. How do we install/ hotfixes automatically on their computers. Some users do not have admin rights. How do we do the mass update with admin id.

Thanks

Naga

Hello there,

just as an addition, I would like to drop a couple of ideas/topics to revisit. Besides the 2 options commented by Kurt:

Automating a SAS® 9.4 Installation without Using Provisioning Software http://support.sas.com/techsup/technote/sas1887-2015.pdf

Use virtualization software: Microsoft AppV, ThinApp, Citrix, they all help on quick deployment of software to clients.

Quiet installations with response files with the SAS Deployment Wizard ( http://support.sas.com/documentation/installcenter/en/ikdeploywizug/66034/PDF/default/user.pdf )
