We had smooth Upgrade on our dev server . However, We encountered below issues while testing the reports.

1. Receiving SQL plan error when you have left join with the table and with fixed value in computed column and the computed column should be in group by .

2. We may have adjust the grap/picture sizes when we print the report using ods doc.

SAS techsupport is helping on them.

To explore 9.4 M5 this is a good place to start:

https://support.sas.com/software/maintenance/index.html

Installing a new maintenance release takes several days depending on the complexity of your SAS environment. I would strongly advise investigating the benefits of upgrading versus the resources required to do it and the potential downtime involved.

9.4 M5 was officially released about 3 weeks ago, so I doubt there would be many SAS sites running it yet.

have you followed the guide provided by @SASKiwi? The update process should be, generally, quite straight forward, specially if you follow the guide. I already updated several systems to M5 and it goes quite fine.

Check out the Guide to software udpates: http://documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=whatsdiff&docsetTarget=titlepage.htm&docsetVersion=9.4&locale=en

If you have any specific question, please do not hesitate to share it with us. Otherwise, please follow the guide, it really helps!

Kind regards,
