Setting up default classic theme for Visual Analytics Hub 7.3 and Visual Analytics Viewer 7.3

I want my VA end users to view reports in classic mode only. As per the VA admin guide, I have set following properties home.ui.mode and vav.ui.mode value to classic in Visual Analytics Hub 7.3 and Visual Analytics Viewer 7.3 software components respectively (please see the attached screenshots). After restarting the web app server I can see the classic theme got applied to the VA Hub page but when I open the report in Visual Analytics Viewer it still opens up the reports in a modern theme. I don't know if I am missing out something or if something is going wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you'd have to make these changes for the other VA "applications" as well, such as the viewer/designer.

Well, that's what exactly I have done. I have set up the property in VA Hub as well as in VA Viewer but it is not working in VA Viewer (please take a look at the attached screen shot in my original post).

Hi,

the only other thing i could think of is whether the middle tier was restarted, which is necessary when you make such changes.

If you did bounce the mid tier, probably the quickest way to go then- except someone else might have an idea - is to open

I just bounced the entire server stack and it seems to be working. Now I can see the default theme is changed at the application level but I guess what I was trying to do is to change theme at user level (only for end users). It there's a way we can do it for specific list of users?
