2025 SAS Customer Recognition Awards — Submit your story by January 31

Accomplish something amazing using SAS in the past year? Don't keep it to yourself! Tell us about it by creating an entry for the SAS Customer Recognition Awards. At stake for first-place winners in each category: a trip to SAS Innovate in Orlando, FL*, a trophy, and cool swag. In February, winners will be selected by a judging panel that will score entries on a 1-5 scale on three categories:

1. Spirit of story

2. Strength of evidence

3. Results

Votes expressed as "likes" on entries here in the SAS Community will be factored in.

I did it last year. I've submitted my SAS packages and SAS Packages Framework idea just to learn that since I'm not SAS customer but SAS user I'm not eligible...

However, mixing those votes and the likes given to normal contributions to the SAS Support Communities will result in a somewhat mixed Likes Leaderboard. The impact of last year's voting is still present in the 1-year statistics:

Over the years, fourteen of the top 20 liked authors of the past 12 months have contributed a total of about 165,000 posts to the communities, i.e. more than 11,700 on average, whereas the remaining six have authored less than 3 posts on average. Most of the likes for their few posts are from community members whose activity doesn't seem to go much beyond submitting those votes.
