SAS Viya for Learners update?

Hi SAS Team,

Short question:

The current version of Viya on the SAS Viya for Learners environment is 3.5.

Are there any plans to update it to the latest release (2021.2)?

@yabwon There are plans for updating SAS Viya for Learners in a couple of ways, but timing for adopting v2021.2 (or later) is still being worked on. It's definitely on the roadmap though.

I am the Product Manager for SAS Software for Learners. By the 'latest release', are you referring to Viya 4? If so...the SAS Viya for Learners team is currently reviewing options for 2022, which include discussions about Viya 4. Our top priority is to continue to develop and support a rich and robust Viya environment for Learners.

SVFL is till on 3.5, and it would be interesting in many aspects to get my hands on Viya 4...

Viya for Learners based on Viya 2023.xx is going through rigorous testing cycles. NOTE: Starting in September 2022, the version numbers for SAS Viya releases use the yyyy.mm format. There are no confirmed dates for production yet.
