Fatal Error on SAS Cost and Profit Management 8.1 while Working on Model

Hi All,

Over CPM tool , after we run steps Fatal error we check is under this option that might help as all operation steps are logged here.

Once you acquire right lock and then open CPM model and any task you do on this tool is logged under

MENU BAR

TOOLS - Operation Summaries

TYPE , TYPE , TIME Completed, and so on many options here....

Fatal Error...

Information Error....

Warning.......

I wanted to know where above errors are logged under which path ? so I can view entire SAS log ??

Kindly assist with CPM TOOL Path where I should find above logs..

Hello @Sanket,

if the errors happened on the server side, you will find the logs on the web application for CostandProfitability-MidTier.

Those logs will be on your web applications erver, on Config/Lev1/Web/Logs/SASServerX_1/SASCost.......log or at CONFIG/Lev1/SASApp/CPMServer/Logs

If you cannot locate the logs and/or your problem, I would recommend you to open a ticket at SAS Technical Support, I am sure they will be able to address your questions.
