Basic statistical tests are usually learned in school, I really dont see why we need to provide references for them. I didn't use a reference, and if I were to provide one, it would not reflect the books I used to learn those methods years and years ago.

Also - I did really like the seeing theory website, thanks!

I have reviewers asking me for a stat reference! I used basic stats in SAS, like t-test, wilcoxon, kolomogorov-smirnov, and ANOVA. Any comprehensive stat book references anyone can recommend. This is just based of of my knowledge, i dont understand why a reference is requested for these.

How can a reviewer judge a paper if they have no statistical expertise?

I like the statsoft.com

and this is pretty cool:

A reference book or a "how to"?

I like the "CRC Handbook of table for Probablity and Statistics" published by The Chemical Rubber Company as a reference.
