      <description>&lt;P&gt;I already told you three weeks ago that using "base sas" as the subject in the "Base SAS Programming" forum is stupid. Are you allergic to learning?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;set will put the two datasets in sequence, merge will put them side-by-side.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Be more specific about what you want to know. Multiple set statements work in a variety of ways depending on how they are used.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;And Merge behaves somewhat differently in one-to-one, one-to-many or many-to-many&amp;nbsp; with By variables or without.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
