I already told you three weeks ago that using "base sas" as the subject in the "Base SAS Programming" forum is stupid. Are you allergic to learning?

set will put the two datasets in sequence, merge will put them side-by-side.

Be more specific about what you want to know. Multiple set statements work in a variety of ways depending on how they are used.

And Merge behaves somewhat differently in one-to-one, one-to-many or many-to-many with By variables or without.
