Export the folder as a CSV file. File ==> Export ==> Outlook data file ==> csv. YMMV but that is the general route. Import that into SAS.

You can also do it using C# or, much worse, VBA.

Hi,

A coworker of mine had an automated process send out a bunch of emails and got a little over 1,000 bouncebacks for various reasons. I was asked if there was any way to extract the email body from Outlook and put them in a file or something usable.

I have no idea. I did look at a msg file Outlook produced and it is pretty obtuse. Anyone have any suggestions on this one?

The emails aren't in MSG format yet but could be exported to that if needed.

Thanks!

--Ben

Perfect! Thanks so much, Alan. Didn't know that was an option.
