    <description>&lt;P&gt;SAS UE does not support connections to databases.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Export tables from the DB to flat files and import those via the shared folder into SAS UE.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have installed SAS University edition in my lap ,I also have oracle database,I am trying to get the data from oracle database by connecting to it through passthrough facility in sas,am getting the following error,am new in doing this,pls help me out,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;proc sql;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;63 connect to oracle (user=hr password=XX path='D:\Users\rmolla\Desktop\New folder (4)');&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasError"&gt;ERROR: The ORACLE engine cannot be found.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasError"&gt;ERROR: A Connection to the oracle DBMS is not currently supported, or is not installed at your site.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasNote"&gt;NOTE: PROC SQL set option NOEXEC and will continue to check the syntax of statements.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;64 create table test1 as&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;65 select * from connection to oracle&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;66 (select * from departments);&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;Regards,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="sasSource"&gt;Rubia.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
