does somone know how to transfer (FTP?) a pure excel sheet to mainframe?&lt;BR /&gt;
What is lrecl and blksize of mainframe file?&lt;BR /&gt;
I have a proc import on PC to read the "sheets" that works fine !&lt;BR /&gt;
I would like to do this on mainframe.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>What exact process do you wish to perform on the "mainframe"?  I believe that PROC IMPORT is not supported by SAS running on IBM's z/OS MVS system.  &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
You will want to consider converting your pure XLS file to a CSV-format file and use a DATA step to create a SAS file.&lt;BR /&gt;
