SAS Universal Viewer – Always opening in half window size

Hi,

I frequently use SAS Universal Viewer to open SAS programs, datasets, and logs. I’ve noticed something curious about how it behaves:

When I launch SAS Universal Viewer directly from the app, it opens in full screen.
However, when I right-click on a SAS file (program, log, or dataset) and choose “Open with SAS Universal Viewer,” it always opens in a half-sized window instead of full screen.

I would like it to always open maximized (full page) regardless of whether I launch it directly or through right-click.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a setting or workaround that ensures SAS Universal Viewer always opens in full screen?

This behavior is by design and described in the following SAS Note:

There are no plans to change this behavior.
