Viya REST API, how many versions in a release ?

When I go to the Viya Rest Api Page you can see different versions of the api. For example the folder api looks like this.

My question is, are there multiple versions valid for one Viya release ? Say for example 2024.07 ?

If the answer is yes, my next question would be, can you control via a parameter which version must be used. I assume that without parameter de last availble version is used ?

My understanding of the versioning in the SAS Developer site is that it relates to the version of the tool and nothing to do with the Viya release. I note in some cases there is only one version available, in which case you can assume that it should work with any supported Viya release. Where there are multiple versions I would also take that approach unless there was some specific guidance in that tool version.
