SAS EG does not show programs upon opening but after a refresh.

Upon opening the SAS project, programs are not visible but have a blank process flow. When I right-click under the "process flow" (white area below it) and select "Refresh", it shows another process flow underneath with the programs.

Seeking assistance to know if there are settings needed to get the issue resolved.

That's a bit weird. I suggest you contact your SAS admin or if there is none then SAS Tech Support.

It also appears that you're not yet using a SAS EG 8.x version. You ideally upgrade to a more recent version as well (if you're using a compatible SAS9.x version). Alternatively start using SAS Studio as that's the UI of the future with SAS EG no more being available for SAS Viya 4 and beyond.
