topic "What's New" in SAS Programming

Currently, the "What's New" documentation is available online for SAS 9.x Older versions are not available online anymore.

But I've always found difficult to figure out when new syntax (options, statements, but also infos like dmbs=xlsx...) and new warning was introduced.

I can sometimes remember when new features occurred but my memory is not fully reliable and it is definitely based on incomplete information.

Do you have any technique to figure it out?

Try https://support.sas.com/documentation/whatsnew/

There are tabs for each release since version 9. You will have to go through some of the links on specific products such as Base SAS 9.4 to get to the incremental what's new for 9.4.1 9.4.2 etc.

Example http://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/pgmsascdc/9.4_3.3/whatsnew/n14c8glgh3j7hxn1b1byjs3sqnvz.htm has separate links to the ODS enhancements from 9.4.0 through 9.4.5
