It seems the result is correct!!

When I looked at appended columns, it seems correct, but I need to do more testing.

Depends on how you do it. "Append" is too vague to provide a specific answer.

In general, you shouldn't ever have to ask this community if something works in SAS. Why? Because SAS will tell you if it works or not.
