    <description>&lt;P&gt;At least with SAS 9.4 there is no matching data type that would allow you to store a mssql image(16) column.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;...but: Given this source column got only a length of 16 the question is "what's in it" and "what do you need it for"?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Depending on content and/or intended use you could eventually cast() it to a data type like varchar() that then can get mapped to a SAS data type.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;And what Microsoft says:&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;SAS 9.4 does not have an image format. However the images can be stored into a folder and the dataset can store the path of the image.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
