Editor font shading

This morning, a weird thing happend in my Base SAS programming editor. I just switched window, the font became strange.

I closed the program file and just found all program file in editor behaved the same thing.

I restarted my SAS session, things returned to normal.

What is the reason? Have you met this before?

I had something similar happen recently on a system that has not had any changes to SAS itself in over a year.

In my case one editor window stayed the same and only new windows had the font problem. Similar solution: restart SAS and no problem.

One time in using PC SAS since version 6.06, nearly 30 years.

I blame it on some Windows update somewhere, possibly to fonts or font settings.
