&lt;P&gt;Other PROCs are interactive, statements execute immediately or when a RUN; is encountered, and so the PROC must end with QUIT (examples: PROC SQL, PROC GLM)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In my opinion, it's easiest to just memorize which ones need QUIT.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
