    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000080;"&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000080;"&gt;I am executing a job in SAS and it is throwing the below error:-&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #ff0000;"&gt;&lt;EM style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline;"&gt;“ERROR: Hash object added 28311536 items when memory failure occurred.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;FATAL: Insufficient memory to execute DATA step program. Aborted during the EXECUTION phase.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of insufficient memory.”&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #1f497d; text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #1f497d;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #1f497d;"&gt;Not able to figure out the correct cause for this issue as i don't think there is memory problem on our server.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #1f497d;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #1f497d;"&gt;What can be the reason for this exit &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #1f497d;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #1f497d;"&gt;Thanks in Advance&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The issue is not related to the memory on your server, but rather to the amount of memory allocated for the SAS process!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;run the following code, to see how much memory was allocated to your SAS session.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Proc Options group=memory; run;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Look for the memsize option&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ahmed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
