Hello,

I am trying to create a table with fields' mappings from DI Studio job - full lineage that would include as much information as possible, like sources, derivation logic etc.

Is there a ready-solution that could help me with that or creating a custom script querying metadata is the only way here?

Could you point me to some examples, documented solutions or relevant white papers please?

On a side note, I would also like to be able to programatically check if given job contains User Written transformations or pre-code sections - any suggestions how this could be done please?

Thanks!

Have you tried this in DI Studio? It doesn't quite give you mapping but it generates a nice HTML report of all the jobs. It shows Source tables, target tables, responsible parties along with some metadata about the job itself.

Tools -> Reports -> Job Documentation
