Hi there, could someone please help me with the structure of the answer to the following question: Calculate SEX frequencies(variable SEXCDL) and percent of total frequency based on the rawdata.demog dataset. Save results in ascending frequency order as d_freq in derived library. Dont print results in output window.

This sounds a lot like homework. So I'm going to suggest looking at the documentation for Proc Freq statement, out=option on a Tables statement and Proc Sort.

Hi thank you for response. Not homework:-). I am doing this for my own research as BA and are in process to experience with SAS.

Throw out a small sample data set, the results you want (even if just a description), and what you have tried.

Post what you've tried. We'll be happy to help you debug. The basics is PROC FREQ are straightforward and there are many examples online.

If you're training for a BA the process to a solution is just as important.

List the requirements.

Explore your options

Pilot a solution

Implement solution

For programming solutions I recommend breaking it into pseudocode at least.
