      <title>Identify household characteristics across multiple IDs</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How can I flag all members of a household if one (but not all) members of that household has a certain characteristic?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example, I want to give every unique&amp;nbsp;entry a flag to identify whether the household has at least one member over the age of 40 in this set:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Household, Age&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 15&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 45&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 30&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 30&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3 55&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4 25&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4 18&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So everyone in household 1 and 3 would have a fortyplus = 1, while all others would have fortyplus=2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Edit: alternativey, how could I just give everyone in the household a MAXHHLDAGE = [age of oldest member].&lt;/P&gt;</description>
