      <title>MACRO CATALOG: how to retrieve SAS version the catalog was created in?</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt; Hi, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an old macro catalog but unfortunately not much of documentation is available.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any possibility (maybe an option in PROC CATALOG) to retrieve the SAS version in which the macros were compiled and the&amp;nbsp; catalog created?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Natalie&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can use Base SAS to retrieve that information manually. Navigate to the library in the SAS Explorer, right-click the catalog and select properties. You'll see the SAS version in the Engine/Host tab.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
