Merging the two large datasets using joins/unique key

Hi ,

I’ve two big datasets and both don’t have a unique_id to join/merge, Does any one have an idea how to join them? Data_1 is a summary file and Data_2 is a detail of the summary of the file. Here is an example of both datasets. Any help is appreciated?

Data_1 is a summary file

ID	Group
00233	ABCD
00233	ABCD
02013	Oxy
02013	Oxy
02013	Oxy

Data_2 is a detail of the summary of the file

I	Group

Again, you need to describe what kind of output you wish - especially when you don't have unique keys.
