    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;A __default_attr="125170" __jive_macro_name="user" class="jive_macro jive_macro_user" data-objecttype="3" href="https://communities.sas.com/"&gt;&lt;/A&gt; and PeterC&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I branched this part of the topic off into a new topic and edited the title.&amp;nbsp; (The fun you can have with big power &lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://communities.sas.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.png" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here's the deal.&amp;nbsp; As long as two usernames are unique they are allowed.&amp;nbsp; If you create new names in the system now, it does not consider differences in capped letters uniqueness.&amp;nbsp; We have a few issues with names that were imported from the old system.&amp;nbsp; The two PeterC's actually differ by a period at the end.&amp;nbsp; PeterC. and PeterC&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; They are technically unique. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PeterC.&amp;nbsp; (with the period) hasn't posted anything in a long time.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Peter,&amp;nbsp; that is obviously a limitation that &lt;A __default_attr="15755" __jive_macro_name="user" class="jive_macro jive_macro_user" data-objecttype="3" href="https://communities.sas.com/"&gt;&lt;/A&gt; should be able to correct.&amp;nbsp; Only one Peter.C shows up in the menu and that has always linked to you.&amp;nbsp; Similarly, I've never been able to use the @ symbol to include data_null's name in any post.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
