    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Locale is set to New Zealand and the date format is dd-mm-yyyy, I would imagine if my locale was US it would be mm-dd-yyyy - ok you are right I can't change the fmt of the date but it is in the fmt tha I understand so I don't need to change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would say it is linked to the locales defined on your pc. - If there is such a thing....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Barry&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Even the French locale still shows 2 PM instead of 14.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't find yyyy-mm-dd anywhere.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'll try to make my (maybe worthless) point again. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the date is not displayed as yyyymmdd, I have to look at a bunch a posts, hopefully one with a number &amp;gt; 12, trying to guess which format is used. Some forums use locale, some try to use locale and fail, some don't bother.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I now know that this one forum uses locale. I'll try to remember when I come back, though I'd rather use my head to store more useful information. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The point is: if the date is displayed with year first, its format becomes obvious, easy to read without hesitation, and fail proof. So I reckon it would be an enhancement to always use this format.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My 2 cents anyway.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt; This is a user preference thing and shouldn't be done globally, as I and I am sure many others don't like the format in this instance that you suggest.&amp;nbsp; However I do agree that you should be able to customise your view to display what ever date format you want to see.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
