There are several banking portals in the web, however, most of them are not so good. If you want to start from the scratch you can log in at https://www.bankllist.us/ This is a very big banking website but if you give two hours everyday, within 2 months you can gain decent amount of knowledge on how banking industry works.

The topics covered in this website are

Bank Reviews
Mortgage
Investment Banking

I suggest you to check them out.

Also, check out the site at bank-nearme.com, you will find a lot of information about banks in the U.S., as well as the official banks websites, and you can go over it it to learn and understand banking terminology better .
